Zumba is an Adult dance-based fitness class that uses a fusion of Latin and International rhythms with easy-to-follow moves. It includes both cardio and resistance training components designed to tone and sculpt the entire body. Zumba is designed for adults of all ages and fitness levels, class participants at any level can start Zumba right away.
Ballet is the base of all dance styles. Classes focus on barre work, center exercises and movement combinations. Dancers must have a solid grounding in ballet if they are interested in dance as a career or wish to audition for any performing arts specialty school. Students will learn technique and placement. Also suitable for all levels of teens and adults and will serve students in whatever capacity they intend for themselves
Jazz is a dance form that appeals to everyone because of its energy, variety, and vitality. Jazz Dance classes explore contemporary and classic jazz dance it draws inspiration from a wide range of music including jazz, swing, blues, pop, soul and funk. Classes begin with a warm-up to develop strength, flexibility, correct alignment and coordination, followed by progressions across the floor, and ends with extended dance combinations. Isolations, swing, and rhythm are some of the elements to develop dancers who are expressive, dynamic, musical and passionate.
Tap Dance is a timeless art that combines dance and percussion These introductory classes give you the opportunity to learn rhythm, basic tap progressions, and the fundamentals of both classic Broadway-style tap and more updated, modern styles!
Class begins with warm up exercises in the center that increase control, coordination, and rhythm, followed by across the floor exercises that teach dynamics, shading, phrasing, and musicality, concluding with extended rhythmic phrases and improvisation exercises. Leaps & Turns
Class designed to assist students in focusing on the leaps, jumps and turns that dancers perform in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. Leaps and Turns class is a way to better your technique when executing basic leaps, center leaps, turns, and fouetté. Ballet and Jazz classes will not spend a lot of time focusing on Leaps ad Turns and a student wishing to strengthen their skill level with these techniques may want to consider the Leaps and Turns class as an adjunct to skill development .
Students will focus on center leaps, right leaps, left leap, calypso, chaînés, pirouettes, fouetté, and a la second’s. Leg extensions and leg catches are also skills that are included in this class. Leaps and Turns skill building assist Jazz dancers is making the dance more refined from a technical perspective.
Leaps and Turns is also an excellent preparation class for DanceTeam competition and try outs . Strength and flexibility are key benefits of the Leaps and Turns class that will assist Ballet and Jazz dancers. Classes like this teach students how to do sissonne and seconds which are skills that are in high demand . The dancers who perform these skills well are valued on danceteams.

Capoeira is a dynamic Brazilian art form combining self defense, acrobatic movements, music, and dance. Students in the class will develop a strong base in capoeira movements and gain an understanding of capoeira through its rich history, contemporary context, and music. Students will experience an exciting piece of Brazilian culture while developing physical strength, self confidence, and body awareness. No prior dance or martial arts experience necessary. This class is geared towards all ability levels.
