Midwinter Musical Theater Camp
Inspired by Matilda the Musical
A focused, immersive musical theater experience designed to turn winter break into a week of creativity, confidence, and performance.
This one-week camp introduces students to the full musical theater process from character development and scene study to singing, movement, and storytelling ending with a special in-studio performance for families.
Ages
4–12 years old
Students are grouped by age and experience level to ensure appropriate pacing and individualized attention.
Schedule
Winter Break | Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Optional Early Arrival at 8:00 AM and late dismissal at 6 pm
Program Focus
Throughout the week, students work collaboratively on musical theater material inspired by Matilda the Musical, building both technical skills and performance confidence.
Training includes:
- Musical theater storytelling
- Acting & drama techniques
- Voice & singing (ensemble and solo work)
- Dance & musical theater movement
- Character development
- Scene study & script work
- Music, rhythm, and expressive performance
- Confidence, teamwork, and stage presence
End-of-Week Performance
Families are invited to a Friday showcase, where students present scenes, songs, and choreography developed throughout the week.
This in-studio performance is designed to:
- Highlight artistic growth
- Build confidence on stage
- Celebrate each student’s progress
Tuition & Pricing
Full Week (Monday–Friday)
- $600 per child
- $500 per child for currently enrolled after-school students
Partial Week Options
- 2 days: $300
- 3 days: $450
- 4 days: $550
Partial Week – After-School Students
- 2 days: $240
- 3 days: $360
- 4 days: $440
Single Day Enrollment (not available for Friday Feb 20th)
- $150 per day
- $120 per day for currently enrolled after-school students
Late dismissal is available for $20 per day

Availability
Limited spots available to ensure small groups and personalized attention.
What to Pack
- Packed lunch (nut-free)
- Refillable water bottle
- Comfortable dance / movement clothing
- No jeans
- No zippers, buttons, or restrictive clothing
- Hair secured off the face (ponytail, bun, braids; bring hair ties if needed)
- Dance shoes or sneakers (depending on the day’s activities)
- Light sweater or layer for indoor use
Snacks are provided.
Please label all personal items. Avoid bringing toys, valuables, or electronics.
Registration Policies
Enrollment & Attendance
Enrollment is confirmed upon payment. Camp days are selected in advance and cannot be changed once the week begins. Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged, particularly for students participating in the end-of-week performance.
Refunds
Tuition is non-refundable once camp begins. Refund requests made at least 14 days prior to the start of camp may be issued as a studio credit for future programs, subject to a small administrative fee.
Day Swaps & Transfers
Day swaps or transfers are not guaranteed and may be approved only if space allows. All requests must be submitted in writing prior to the start of camp.
Absences
Missed days due to illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts are not eligible for refunds or makeup days.
